📅 April 9–12 | Ghost Ranch, New Mexico
We live in a world where technology keeps us constantly “connected” — yet often leaves us more distracted and disconnected from ourselves, each other, and nature. True leadership today isn’t about pushing harder or moving faster. It’s about pausing, unplugging, and deliberately choosing how you want to lead.
That’s exactly what Georgia O’Keeffe did here at Ghost Ranch. She built a life of intention and clarity, surrounded by the red rock mesas that inspired her art and her way of being. Her spirit lingers in the land — an invitation to live boldly and deliberately.
This retreat offers you the chance to step away from the noise, reset, and reconnect with what matters most. It’s not a conference or a corporate workshop. It’s a gathering for those who give so much of themselves — at work and at home — and are ready to pause, breathe, and return to center. Think of us as setting the frame: just enough guidance to feel supported, with plenty of room for Ghost Ranch to work its quiet magic.
🔥 Fireside Conversations Inspired by Georgia O’Keeffe – We’ll gather around the fire to reflect on a short pre-readabout O’Keeffe. Her deliberate way of living becomes a spark for open conversation about what truly matters in our own lives.
🧭 Guided Reflection & Coaching – In pairs and small groups, you’ll explore what feels most important right now. With simple prompts and relaxed dialogue, you’ll notice what gives you energy — and how to invite more of it into daily life.
🧘♀️ Mindful Movement & Stillness – Gentle yoga, calming breathwork, and quiet pauses to help you feel grounded and present. Yoga is open to all levels — no experience needed.
💧 Mineral Spa Soak – We’ll rest and rejuvenate in Ojo Caliente’s natural hot springs — a true delight for body and spirit.
🤝 An Intimate Circle – A small, welcoming community where you can share experiences and insights with ease. Many participants discover lasting friendships and peer mentors this way.
🌿 Time to Just Be – Spacious moments to wander, journal, or simply rest. No agenda — just time for yourself and the beauty of the high desert.
I’ve spent years leading, coaching, and consulting in high-pressure environments. What I’ve seen again and again is how easy it is for people to lose touch with themselves while chasing success. We push, we strive, and sometimes we forget to pause and ask: What really matters?
That’s one of the reasons I chose Ghost Ranch. Georgia O’Keeffe didn’t just paint here; she designed a life rooted in clarity and intention. She reminds us that leadership isn’t only about the work we produce — it’s about the lives we choose to build.
I wanted to create a space that reflects that spirit. Not a conference room, not a high-priced “luxury” getaway — but a gathering where we share the costs, pitch in together, and co-create something meaningful.
This retreat is part of my gift and part of my work. It’s a way for me to share what I know, to spark change, and to invite others into a movement of leading with clarity and humanity. It’s also how people get to know me — and yes, sometimes that leads to deeper coaching work together. But whether or not that happens, the retreat stands on its own.
Think of this weekend as an invitation: step away from the noise, reconnect with yourself, and join a circle of people who care about living and leading differently — much like O’Keeffe did here, decades ago.
Leah spent 20 years climbing the corporate ladder while raising twins, juggling deadlines, and chasing the myth of “work-life balance.” Eventually, she realized balance wasn’t the answer. The constant push to “do it all” wasn’t sustainable — and something had to shift. So she redefined success on her own terms. Instead of chasing an impossible ideal, she embraced work-life integration — a way to lead, live, and thrive without burning out. Now, she helps others do the same.
As founder of Lion’s Tooth Leadership, Leah coaches high-achieving professionals to reclaim their life, refocus their energy, and design a life aligned with what truly matters. She also partners with Fortune 500 companies, guiding leaders through transformational growth — all while navigating the real-life roles of mom, wife, daughter, consultant, and coach (some days with more grace than others).
When she’s not coaching, you’ll find her behind the camera as a photographer or exploring the world with her family — always learning (and unlearning) what it means to live a fulfilling life.
Emily is all about finding a way to stay grounded while being in motion. As a business owner, dedicated single mom, mindfulness expert, certified yoga instructor, and massage therapist, she understands firsthand the balancing act of caregiving, work, and self-care.
She weaves her practices into everyday life, informing women, men and children how to create moments of stillness amidst chaos. Through nature, play, movement, breath work, and practical mindfulness tools, she teaches how to show up for the gift of being there for each of ourselves—because calm isn’t a luxury, it’s a necessity.

Each participant will receive a Retreat Journal created just for this experience. Inside, you’ll find gentle prompts and reflection pages to help you explore elements of your Internal Compass — the inner guide made up of your Strengths, Values, Passions, and Purpose, along with the Needs, Wants, Tailwinds, and Headwinds that shape your path.
Your Internal Compass is what points you toward choices that feel aligned and true, even when life feels uncertain. This journal helps you notice and capture those signals.
It’s not about filling out worksheets. It’s about giving yourself a place to hold the insights, aha moments, and quiet truths that can so easily slip away once you return to daily life. Think of it as both a keepsake and a compass you can revisit anytime you need clarity.
Depending on how deeply you lean into reflection over the weekend, you may leave with greater clarity about what truly matters, a simple framework for making aligned decisions, and fresh confidence to move forward with purpose — no matter which way the wind blows.
You’ll have the chance to lean on your guides, Leah and Emily, to deepen your learning as much (or as little) as feels right for you.
This isn’t about forcing outcomes; it’s about creating the space for insights to surface. When you step away from the noise, second-guessing gives way to intention — and your true north begins to come into view.
Most 3–4 day retreats cost $3,500+. Ours is thoughtfully priced $1,000–$1,800 (plus travel) depending on what accomodations you select— accessible, high-quality, and personalized. We believe rest, connection, and discovery shouldn’t be limited by cost.
✨ What makes this retreat different
We’ve kept costs low while offering a small-group, flexible, and tailored experience. Think collaborative, camp-like energy plus the space to shape your own journey — something rarely found at this price.
💛 Deposit: A $150 non-refundable deposit (due Nov 1, 2025) secures your spot. Once the group size is set, we’ll confirm your final fee. Bring a friend or two — the cost goes down for everyone.
Once your deposit is received, we’ll send clear next steps.
The date is approaching fast and we’re making preparations. Don’t miss out!

Most retreats of this type run $3,500+. We’ve intentionally designed this one to be more accessible: between $1,000–$1,800 plus travel depending on your lodging choice.
All facilitation (coaching, yoga, group sessions), your retreat journal, activities, and three meals per day with your room at Ghost Ranch. You also get access to our private retreat circle for connection before and after the event.
Travel to Ghost Ranch and optional extras like spa treatments. While meals are included, you can choose to skip dinner at the ranch if you’d like to dine out instead at your expense.
Think of this as more than “time away.” You’ll leave with:
Dress code: Casual and comfortable is the vibe — think clothes you can breathe in. It’s New Mexico, so if you’ve got cowgirl/boy boots, this is the place to show them off! Pack layers for cool, windy, and hot weather. The high desert likes to keep us guessing.
Yoga: We’ll provide mats for everyone, but feel free to bring your own if you prefer. Just pack easy, comfortable yoga clothes.
Ojo Caliente Hot Springs: Bring a bathing suit, flip flops, and a bathrobe. (If you’d rather travel light, you can rent a robe and slippers at the springs for $20)
Ranch Accommodations: Rooms are simple and cozy — no alarm clock, one bar of soap, and no hair dryer. Linens and towels are provided.
Recommended Items (It’s a little like camp!)
✨ Bring whatever else helps you feel relaxed and at ease.
Weather is usually sunny and we are high in altitude so bring layers, a hat, sunglasses and sunscreen. It means that it can go from being warm to cold very quickly in the high desert. Check the weather before you leave.
Also, the altitude at Ghost Ranch is 7541 ft / 2298 m. Be sure to learn about the impacts of high altitude and be ready to accept the risks. Basically you need to drink a lot of water and pay attention to yourself if you feel tired.
The Ranch cafeteria always offers vegetarian options, though fully vegan meals can be more limited. When you book your room, you’ll be asked if you’d like meals included. There’s also a small kitchen available for our group, with a refrigerator where you can store any food you bring.
When reserving your accommodations, you can let them know if you prefer not to have cafeteria meals included, so you won’t be charged. Or you can mix and match — enjoy some meals from the cafeteria and prepare others yourself. There’s plenty of flexibility.
You can rent a car, it's approximately 2 hours 30 minutes to Abiquiu. If enough of you are flying in from another city we can look into carpooling from the airport. We won't know this until we know who is attending the retreat.
If you are coming from Albuquerque as a local and are willing to carpool, do let us know so that we can coordinate.
If you are coming from Santa Fe and you don't have a car/don't want to drive, there is information on the ghostranch.org website about White Buffalo Shuttle which picks you up at the Sage Inn in Santa Fe. Their phone number is 831.359.8077 or you can email them at nivek@cruzio.com. Otherwise another option is Groometransportation.com and their phone number is 505.474.5696. Lion's Tooth Leadership has no affiliation with these transportation services.
Yes, It’s spotty so plan on a digital detox somewhat. Wi-Fi is offered in several areas of the Ranch, including the Welcome Center, Library and Dining Hall.
Yes, but it’s not part of the retreat agenda. You could skip the afternoon hike on Saturday and plan to visit it.
Ghost Ranch is where O’Keefe originally stayed when she first arrived in the West and then later she built her home in Abiquiu. They are two separate but related locations. So we suggest that if you wish to visit her home location that you plan for that by coming a day early or staying a day later. Also do know that you have to reserve the O’Keefe home visit weeks in advance so be sure to plan accordingly.
We’ll have basic first-aid supplies on hand, but please plan ahead — bring all of your personal medications and let someone you trust know where they are. If you’d like, you can also share your emergency contact information with a member of the retreat team.
There will be no live medical staff on site. In the event of serious illness or urgent medical needs, the nearest facilities are:
✨ Being prepared with your own medications and an emergency contact ensures you can fully relax and enjoy your time here.
🐾 Pets: Sorry, no pets are allowed.
👨👩👧 Family & Friends: You do have two options if you’d like to bring a spouse, partner, or child:
This way you get to choose what works best for you and your family.
Yes — all are welcome here. This retreat is for anyone who feels called to rest, reconnect, and explore in community. We are committed to creating a safe and supportive space, and we will not tolerate discrimination of any kind.

"I didn’t realize how much I needed this until I was here. The combination of yoga, reflection, and activities helped me both relax and reconnect with myself. I feel lighter, clearer, and more grounded."
“This wasn’t your typical retreat with rigid schedules or stuffy lectures. It was collaborative, fun, and flexible. I laughed, I stretched, I rested, and I connected with amazing people. It reminded me of summer camp — in the best way.”
"The flow of yoga, quiet moments, and group activities struck the exact balance I needed. The facilitators were incredibly responsive and made sure everyone had space to shape the experience for themselves."
“I loved how adaptable the retreat felt. If I needed stillness, I got that. If I wanted connection, it was right there. The facilitators held structure but left room for our needs. I walked away relaxed and with new energy for my work and life.”
“I’m usually the planner, the doer, the one holding it all together. This retreat gave me space to put that down. Between the yoga, the hot springs, and the gentle reflection prompts, I remembered what it feels like to breathe deeply and move at my own pace.”
“The setting alone was medicine — wide skies, fresh air, and stars at night. Add in the thoughtful facilitation and flexible schedule, and it became one of the most restorative experiences I’ve ever had. I came back home more centered, with clarity about what matters most.”
